To provide electric shears used for tree pruning, gardening work, or the like, so designed as to increase shearing force of a blade body, make an open angle of the blade body changeable, be improved in its workability and operability, reduce the size and weight of the shears body of the shears, and facilitate replacement of the blade body.
The shears have the following structure: the shears body 1 is provided with the blade body 2 freely detachable; the blade body 2 is provided with a fixed blade 4 and a movable blade 5 which are openably and rotationally pivotted via a pivotally supporting part 3; the movable blade 5 is provided with a power transmission part 9; the shears body 1 is provided with a power transmission mechanism 14 transmitting power of a driving device 12 to the power transmission part 9; the power transmission mechanism 14 comprises a bevel wheel power transmission part 15, a spur wheel power transmission part 16 and a cam power transmission part 17; the bevel wheel power transmission part 15 comprises a small bevel wheel 18, and a large bevel wheel 19 connected to the small bevel wheel 18 via gearing; the spur wheel power transmission part 16 comprises a small spur wheel 20 rotating integrally to the large bevel wheel 19, and a fan-shaped wheel 21 connected to the small spur wheel 20 via gearing; and the cam power transmission part 17 comprises a cam follower 26 set to the fan-shaped wheel 21, and a cam groove 27 formed at the power transmission part 9 so as to be engaged to a cam follower.
