Abstract:
To provide a door system that prevents electric shock, fire, or damage to the door system due to user contact with the door system.SOLUTION: A door system includes a door having a frame portion 27c forming at least a portion of the outer periphery and a sleeve 58 configured to surround at least a portion of the frame portion 27c. The frame portion 27c is made of a first material, and the sleeve 58 is made of a second material different from the first material. The first material is electrically conductive and the second material is electrically insulating. Alternatively or additionally, the first material is susceptible to abrasion and the sleeve 58 is elastic and replaceable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
