Abstract:
To shorten a time to complete battery charging.SOLUTION: An electric shovel has: an electric motor; a battery that supplies power to the electric motor; and a charging port for supplying power to the battery. The electric shovel is configured to perform temperature rising control of the battery in a case where a temperature of the battery detected by a detector is lower than a predetermined temperature at which the battery can be charged while the electric shovel is being driven and before a charging member is connected with the charging port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
