Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable secure and speedy soldering with one hand, by providing a hollow solder melting and storing part at the tip of a soldering iron, and dispensing the melted solder by necessary amount by means of a valve in this part.

CONSTITUTION: The metal (copper) part at the tip of a soldering iron is made hollow, and a solder melting and storing part 4 is provided, and a hole 5 to flow out the melted solder is provided at the end thereof. A valve 10 having a protrusion 6 is provided in this hole 5, and this valve 10 is designed to open when fitting to the contact to be soldered and shut when leaving by means of a spring 8. Besides, in order to discharge the solder and clean the storing part 4, the valve 10 is designed to open by manipulating a handle 9.
