PURPOSE: To secure safety in the use of an electric stove consisting of a pair of stove bodies by providing a control device which does not permit the oscillating mechanism in the support to work when each of the stove bodies is raised by an angle up to a prescribed degree from a horizontal plane for the oscillating movement.
CONSTITUTION: A swiveling support 2 is mounted at the center on a base 1. When a pair of bodies 3, 3 constituting an electric stove, set in oscillating motion, are leaning each to the opposite side by an angle up to about 45° from a vertical line, a microswitch 35 in the control device 33 is in the on state, supplying a current to a motor 26, so that the support 2 continues its horizontal oscillating movement. However, when the stove bodies are raised to lean each to the opposite side by an angle up to about 45° from a horizontal plane, a cam device 34 in a gear 12 turns off the microswitch 35 so that the electric current is shut off from the motor 26, hence the oscillation is stopped.
