Abstract:
To decrease the number of components to be attached to a vehicle body by modularizing components other than a vehicle body frame and improve design flexibility around the vehicle body frame, prevent designing man-hours from being increased, and expedite common use of components.SOLUTION: An electric straddle-type vehicle 1 includes: a vehicle body frame 2; a rear wheel 7 disposed rearward of the vehicle frame body 2; an electric motor 9 configured to drive the rear wheel 7; a motor case 14 housing the electric motor 9; a control unit 15 configured to control the electric motor 9; a swing arm 6 supporting the rear wheel 7 rotatably; and a rear suspension 18 configured to mitigate oscillation of the swing arm 6. The motor case 14 includes: an attachment portion 93 of the vehicle body frame 2; an attachment portion of the control unit 15; an attachment portion 91 of the swing arm 6; and an attachment portion of the rear suspension 18. The attachment portion 93 of the vehicle body frame 2 is disposed forward of the attachment portion 91 of the swing arm 6 and on the front surface of the motor case 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
