Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric supercharging system for placing a supercharger without layout constraints at a place most favorable to transient responsibility.
SOLUTION: A part of an intake path is branched, and a turbocharger 4 is placed in one path 1, and an electric supercharger 6 is placed in the other path 2. An opening/closing valve 4 is placed downstream of the turbocharger 4 and upstream of a confluence 25. In operating time of the electric supercharger 6, the valve 14 is closed for at least a fixed time.
