To suppress a noise by variably distributing an air supply amount in a width direction of a thermal storage brick to a deviation of a temperature distribution of the brick of an electric thermal storage heater, efficiently taking out a heat quantity from the residual heat brick, and suppressing the air supply amount.
The electric thermal storage heater comprises partition plates 17 provided to form a plurality of rows of channels in a width direction in thermal storage bricks 11. In this case, parts of the plates 17 are bent as bending portions which are bendable according to a temperature by a bimetal. When radiated, a temperature is lowered to close the channel corresponding to the brick 11 capable of taking out no heat quantity or to suppress a flow rate and to increase an air volume of another channel, and to efficiently take out the heat amount even when there is a deviation of a temperature distribution, thereby suppressing a noise.
