To improve a transient characteristic at start-up and stoppage of an electric thrust producing device which generates reciprocation converted by rotational movement of an electric motor.
In a working procedure, a ball screw 4, guide members 8A and 8B, movement energy of reciprocation components of a shaft 9 are absorbed by a coil spring 11A. In a return procedure, it is absorbed by a coil spring 11B. When making the reciprocation components start from an idle state, a driving force at start-up required by an electric motor 2 is depleted by utilizing energy stored in each of coil springs 11A and 11B as the movement energy of the reciprocation components. Movement energy during the reciprocation components exercising by constant velocity can be reused to circulate between the electric motor 2 and each of coil springs 11A and 11B.
