Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, in a conventional electric torch, light from an electric bulb illuminates only a front area, and therefore a lower foot area is dark, which causes walking into a puddle since it is invisible, or stumbling over a stone.SOLUTION: An electric torch has a grass or the like transmissive for light in a front face and a bottom face around an electric bulb, so as to illuminate a front area and a foot area with light from the electric bulb. Consequently, the foot area is bright, which allows safely walking.
