To provide a system by which information utilized on groupware is related to an electronic transaction performed on the Internet.

A groupware server 105 stores a self customer number and respective client user numbers. An electronic transaction server 107 stores connection information of a transaction providing server and a transaction destination user number corresponding to the customer number and the user number at each transaction providing server 109. The groupware server 105 transmits an electronic transaction usage purpose from the client 101, the customer number and the user number to the electronic transaction server 107, reports the customer number and the transaction destination user number to the transaction providing server 109 corresponding to the usage purpose and authenticates the transaction. The client performs the electronic transaction via the electronic transaction server 107.
