Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric valve actuator that can continuously perform opening/closing control operation of a valve even when an abnormality occurs in a rotation drive system.SOLUTION: A control unit 50 performs position control of a first motor 20a and performs torque control of a second motor 20b. When an abnormality occurs, it is determined whether or not the abnormality exists in a first rotation drive system. If the abnormality exists in the first rotation drive system, control operation by the first rotation drive system is stopped, and rotation control of the first motor 20a is terminated. In addition, position control of the second motor 20b is started, and a warning signal indicating the abnormality in the first rotation drive system is outputted to a display unit 53. If the abnormality exists in a second rotation drive system, control operation by the second rotation drive system is stopped, and rotation control of the second motor 20b is terminated. In addition, a warning signal indicating the abnormality in the second rotation drive system is outputted to the display unit 53.
