Abstract:
To provide an electric vehicle that allows a driver to recognize that a motor is in a neutral state, and allows the driver to improve energy efficiency using the neutral state of the motor.SOLUTION: Provided is an accelerator pedal 11 that is displaced to an accelerator opening corresponding to a received operation to accelerate or decelerate a speed of the electric vehicle. A first resistance of the accelerator pedal 11 within a target range between a first opening with a predetermined accelerator opening and a second opening larger than the first opening is different from a second resistance of the accelerator pedal 11 when the accelerator opening is out of the target range. Each of the first resistance and the second resistance is the resistance acting in a direction opposite to the direction of operation from the accelerator pedal 11. When the accelerator opening is within the target range, a state of a motor 19 is the neutral state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
