Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle control device which can efficiently use a secondary battery.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle control device 20 has a power conversion part 26, a secondary battery 28, a voltage detection part 24, a temperature detection part, a charging part and a charge control part. The power conversion part supplies power from an overhead power line P as power for driving a traveling motor 40. The secondary battery is connected to an input side of the power conversion part. The voltage detection part detects a voltage of the secondary battery. The temperature detection part detects a temperature of the second battery. The charging part charges the secondary battery. The charge control part controls the charging part on the basis of the voltage detected by the voltage detection part, adjusts the power supplied to the secondary battery from the power conversion part when the traveling motor is subjected to regenerative operation, and also controls the charging part so that the power supplied to the secondary battery from the power conversion part is increased as the temperature detected by the temperature detection part is lowered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
