To provide a power manager for collectively managing information specific to an apparatus and effectively utilizing power in an electric vehicle.
An electric vehicle controller includes a VVVF inverter 10, a CVCF inverter 28, a fuel cell 20, a power storage apparatus 40 and the power manager 41. When the electric vehicle implements a regenerative brake operation, AC power from an electric motor is converted into DC power by the VVVF inverter 10, and the power storage apparatus 40 and the CVCF inverter 28 are controlled so as to consume the DC power. When the electric vehicle implements a power running operation, power from the fuel cell 20 and the power storage apparatus 40 and power from an overhead wire voltage as their shortage are controlled so as to be supplied to the VVVF inverter 10 and the CVCF inverter 28. When the electric vehicle implements a coasting operation, power from the fuel cell 20 and the power storage apparatus 40 and power from the overhead wire voltage as their shortage are controlled so as to be supplied to the CVCF inverter 28. The power manager 41 collectively manages power.
