Abstract:
To provide an electric vehicle driving device that can make both increase in low-speed torque and increase in high-speed rotation speed compatible, and can make a speed reduction mechanism compact, and further is configured not to influence change in vehicle attitude and in addition not to influence intermediate acceleration.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle driving device 5 according to the present invention comprises: driving units 8a and 8b for front wheels; and driving units 9a and 9b for rear wheels. The driving units 8a and 8b for front wheels comprise first electric motors 15 and first deceleration gear mechanisms 16 that decelerate rotation made by the first electric motors 15 and transmit the rotation to front wheels 3a and 3b. The driving units 9a and 9b for rear wheels comprise second electric motors 17 and second deceleration gear mechanisms 18 that decelerate rotation made by the second electric motors 17 and transmit the rotation to rear wheels 4a and 4b, where the units are different in deceleration ratio from the driving units 8a and 8b for front wheels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
