Abstract:
To suppress a rise in temperature of a second motor when short circuit abnormality occurs in the second motor, in a case when an abnormality occurs in first communication between a first control device and a second control device.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle is equipped with an abnormality determination circuit that executes determination of a short circuit abnormality for determining whether or not a short circuit abnormality occurs in a second motor and transmits to a first control device a determined result of the determination of a short circuit abnormality by second communication which is faster in communication speed than first communication. The first control device stops travelling of the electric vehicle when the determination that the short circuit abnormality occurs as a determined result is transmitted from the abnormality determination circuit, in the case when an abnormality that control data cannot be transmitted to a second control device via the first communication. Accordingly, a rise in temperature of the second motor when the short circuit abnormality occurs in the second motor, in the case when an abnormality occurs in the first communication between the first control device and the second control device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
