Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle which can inhibit damage of a battery for driving even when collided on a lateral surface without deteriorating the energy utilization efficiency.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a front floor panel; a front seat installed at an area above the front floor panel when viewed in a vehicle body vertical direction; and a battery for driving installed between the front floor panel and the front seat. The electric vehicle includes: a pair of left and right lower rails which are installed at positions separated upward from an upper surface of the front floor panel in the vehicle body vertical direction along a vehicle fore and aft direction so as to be parallel to each other; and a pair of left and right upper rails which are installed on a lower surface of the front seat along the vehicle fore and aft direction so as to be parallel to each other and slidably supported by the pair of left and right lower rails. The battery for driving is installed between the pair of left and right lower rails.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
