Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to appropriately discriminate between a case in which a noise countermeasure should be prioritized over a loss countermeasure and a case in which a loss countermeasure should be prioritized over a noise countermeasure in an electric vehicle on which an inverter is mounted.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle comprises an inverter, a control device which supplies the inverter with PWM signals for controlling the inverter and a signal supply device which supplies the control device with a window state signal indicating an opened/closed state of a window of the vehicle body. When such a condition that a vehicle speed is slower than a prescribed speed and the window state signal indicates an open state is satisfied (YES in S12), the frequency of the PWM signal is set to a frequency F1 outside of the audible frequency band, while when the above-mentioned condition is not satisfied (NO in S10 or NO in S12), it is set to a frequency F0 which is a lower frequency than the frequency F1 and is within the audible frequency band.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
