Abstract:
To provide an electric water heater capable of minimizing the capacity of a hot water storage tank while constantly securing a required amount of hot water of which a used amount becomes maximum temporarily in the evening.
The electric water heater is provided with a heating means for heating water in the hot water storage tank 1, accumulates the hot water boiled by midnight power in the hot water storage tank 1, and is provided with hot water shortage prevention control device 5 for instructing boiling operation to the heating means when the hot water in the hot water storage tank 1 is used in the daytime, and storing the hot water of an approximately full capacity in the hot water storage tank 1 continuously until the evening.
