Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the possibility of imperfect locking so as to enhance safety by pressing a locking member into contact with the upper wall face of the recessed portion of a main body when closing a lid body, and allowing the locking member to slide against a pressure member, climb over the entrance of the recessed portion, and be locked.
CONSTITUTION: A locking member 5 to be locked to a main body 1 while a lid body 3 covering the opening of a container 2 is in its closed position is provided to the lid body 3 in such a manner as to be freely slidable in a generally horizontal direction, and is pressed forward by a spring 6. The main body 1 has a recessed portion 7 formed in its portion opposite to the locking member 5. When the lid body 3 being open is turned and closed, the locking member 5 is brought close to the recessed portion 7 and pressed into contact with the upper inclined wall face 9 of the recessed portion 7 so that the locking member 5 is slid backwards against the spring 6, climbs over the entrance 10 of the recessed portion 7 and is locked. To unlock, the locking member 5 is slid backward by an unlocking member 8 and unlocked.
