Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit flow of a liquid from an inlet to an outlet in stopping an electric water pump without using a drive portion such as an electric valve.SOLUTION: In an electric water pump 10, attraction force is applied to an axial one side from a stator 20 to a rotor 18 when a magnetic center line in an axial direction of the stator 20 is offset to an axial magnetic center line of the rotor 18. An electric water pump 10 includes a valve structural portion 22, the valve structural portion 22 blocks communication between a flow channel 40 formed between a plurality of blades of an impeller 16 and the outlet 28 in a state that the impeller 16 and the rotor 18 are moved to an axial one side by attraction force of the stator 20 in non-energization of the stator 20. On the other hand, the valve structural portion 22 makes the flow channel 40 communicate with the outlet 28 in a state that the impeller 16 and the rotor 18 are moved to the axial other side when a pump chamber 24 has a negative pressure in accompany with rotation of the impeller 16 in energization of the stator 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
