A seat (22) is provided at the chair frame ((21) of the base seat (2) of the wheelchair. A front wheel (26) and a rear wheel (27) are fitted respectively on the right and left of the bottom of this seat (2). A power mechanism (3) is mounted under the frame (21) of this seat (2), and a differential mechanism (4) is provided between these wheels (27). A turning mechanism (6) is fitted between these wheels (26). Both of this mechanism (6) and the mechanism (3) are controlled by a controlling mechanism (5) mounted in front of the seat 2, the mechanism (5) controls the direction change of the mechanism (6), and the mechanism (4) properly controls the difference of rotational speed of these wheels (27) when turning the wheelchair.
