PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation of the cut surface of an electric wire by rotating a feed screw interlocking with the driving of an operating shaft and moving a movable nut fitted by a thread to the screw along the feed screw and opening and closing a cutting blade, the tip of which has R-form.
CONSTITUTION: The rotation of a rotatable operating shaft 2 at the lower end of a tool main body 1 rotates the feed screw 3 in the horizontal direction through a bevel gear. When a movable nut 4 fitted by a thread to a screw 3 is moved front and rear, a fixed pin 6 fixed to the nut 4 and a link plate 5 are awed front and rear. A movable pin 7 loosely passed into the link plate 5 and loosely provided cutting blades A9, B10 are moved. A pair of blade tips 11 are opened and closed by adopting a fulcrum bolt 8 as an axial center. When they are closed, an electric wire is cut off by both blade tips. The angle of the cutting blades A9, B10 is adjusted by moving up and don the locking pin 16 at the top of a knob 14 in a plurality of knob holes 13 provided in the periphery of an adjusting guide 12. Thereby, the cut surface of an electric wire is easily adjusted so as to have a right angle to the electric wire.
