Abstract:
To provide an electric work machine which can detect a user grips a side handle and drive a motor at a housing side to which the side handle is attached.SOLUTION: A side handle fitting part is arranged in a housing accommodating a motor. A plurality of load detection parts detecting loads applied from a grip part of the side handle are distributedly arranged around a fitting hole into which a shaft of the side handle is inserted in the side handle fitting part. A control part determines, based on the loads detected by the plurality of load detection parts, whether the side handle is gripped or not. When the side handle is not gripped, drive power of the motor is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
