To provide an electrical appliance having a terminal device which allows for direct understanding of which electrical appliance is connected with which conductor selected, even when the terminal device of an electrical appliance is connected selectively with an external conductor or after it is connected, thus enhancing workability such as switching of the terminal device or confirmation thereof when selecting a conductor, and suppressing misconception.
A handle 103 is provided to the front of the appliance body 101 of substantially box-shape, and a terminal 102 for receiving or supplying electricity is provided to the side face of the appliance body. Position of the terminal 102 can be shifted continuously between respective connection positions, so that a specific one of a plurality of external conductors can be selected and connected with an electrical appliance 1. Position of the terminal 102 is shifted between connection positions from the front side substantially in parallel therewith in the plan view. Recognition means for confirming an external conductor connected with the terminal 102 and an external conductor not connected therewith directly and visually, in the plan view from the front side, is also provided.
