To provide an electrical bed with a lifting mechanism which simultaneously attains lowering and a large lifting quantity (raising) of a base frame with a simple configuration, and is small in the output of an actuator required for raising and lowering the base frame.

The lifting mechanism 10 is provided with a switching structure where an auxiliary link 18 supports the base frame 12 while the base frame 12 is lowered, the auxiliary link 18 and a lifting link 15 support the base frame 12 when switching from the auxiliary link 18 to the lifting link 15, and the lifting link 15 supports the base frame 12 while the base frame 12 is raised.
