Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake unit capable of consuming a large amount of braking power and capable of configuring the device to be relatively small.SOLUTION: The electric brake unit includes: an inverter 5 having an input connected to a DC bus and for outputting three-phase AC, a three-phase braking resistor 6 connected as a load to an output of the inverter 5; a current detector 7 for detecting an input current to the braking resistor 5; a voltage detector 9 for detecting a voltage of the DC bus; and control means 10 for controlling the inverter 5. The control means 10 absorbs the regenerative power of devices 3 and 4 connected to the DC bus by controlling the output current of the inverter 5 so that the voltage of the DC bus line does not exceed the predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
