To drain water intruded into an electrical connection box from a lower case, without passing the water through the region of internal circuit and without increasing the size of the electrical connection box.
The circumferential wall 10a of the upper case of an electrical connection box for automobile is fitted in the circumferential wall 11a of the lower case, locking claws 10b and 11b, projecting from the outer surface of upper case circumferential wall and the inner surface of lower case circumferential wall, are coupled while engaged with each other, and the air gap between the circumferential walls formed by the locking claw fitting part of the upper case 10 and the lower case 11 serves as a drainage channel 13. Drain outlets 14 are bored in the bottom wall 11c of the lower case, abutting against the lower end of the drainage channel 13. The drain outlets 14 are formed of the punching holes of the lock pawl 11b in the lower case 11, where the bottom wall 11c of the lower case at the lower end face of the drainage channel is inclined downwardly, toward the drain outlets 14, and a rib 15 for sectioning the drainage channel 13, while spacing apart from the circumferential wall 11a is projected from the bottom wall 11c of the lower case.
