Abstract:

To provide an electrical connection structure that is high in mechanical endurance and can be reduced in weight and be inexpensively materialized and a method for manufacturing harnesses.

The electrical connection structure is applied to the surplus length absorbing mechanism 40 of a power feeding device for trunk lids. The surplus length absorbing mechanism includes a coated tube 31, multiple wire aligning members 32, multiple tube fixing portions 33, and a tension member 34. A harness 49 comprised of multiple wires is passed through the coated tube 31 so that it is aligned and disposed between the end portions 32a of the wire aligning members 32 with the tension member 34 at the center and disposed. A housing case 10 has an opening 43 from which the intermediate portion of the harness 49 is extended together with the coated tube 31. This intermediate portion is placed in a U shape in the internal space 48. The intermediate portion of the harness 49 is placed so that it can freely go into and out of the opening 43 by the elastic restoring force of the tension member 34.
