To provide an electrical connector assuring electrical transmission of a terminal in a limited space by a multipoint contact method.
This electrical connector includes an insulation housing having a plurality of housing chambers arranged in a longitudinal direction thereof, and a plurality of terminals housed in the housing chambers of the insulation housing. Each terminal is formed by stamping and attached to the housing, and is so formed that its longitudinal dimension is much less than its lateral dimension. Each conductive terminal is provided with a joint part in contact with a first conductive member located outside and a mounting part in contact, with a second conductive member located outside. At least two of the conductive terminals are housed in each housing chamber of the insulative housing, the conductive terminals located in the same chamber are arranged in the longitudinal direction, the joint parts of the terminals are brought into contact with the same first conductive member, and their mounting parts are brought into contact with the same second conductive member.
