To provide an electrical device which is equipped with a detection means for detecting the overheat state of a brush motor without complicating the assembly structure of the electrical device.
An electrical device 1 includes: a brush motor 6 which is provided in the internal space surrounded by housings 2 and 3; and a drive section 4 which is driven by the brush motor 6. The brush motor 6 is equipped with: a stator 11 fixed to the housings 2 and 3; a rotor 9 which can rotate freely for the stator 11; and a brush holder 15 fixed to the housings 2 and 3. The stator 11 or the brush holder 15 is fixed to the housings 2 and 3 while being held between resilient fixing members and urged along the rotational direction of the rotor 9, and at least one fixing member consists of a shape memory material.
