Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical discharge type metal dot spraying device capable of spraying molten spheres by making their sizes uniform.
SOLUTION: The electrical discharge type metal dot spraying device is equipped with a guide pipe 13 for delivering wire of a metallic material, a pore 11 internally having the guide pipe 13 for delivering gas 16 along the guide pipe 13, a gas supply section 12 for supplying the gas 16, a material supply section 30 for supplying the wire 20, a first electrode 41 disposed in a position near the tip of the pore 11, a second electrode 42 juxtaposed with the first electrode 41 in a position apart from the tip and a discharge power source section 50 for discharging electricity between the wire 20 and both the electrodes. The device discharges the electricity between the first electrode and the second electrode in the state of delivering and projecting the end of the wire 20 from the tip and allows the molten sphere formed by melting the wire 20 between both the electrodes to fly by the gaseous flow delivered from the pore 11.
