Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical equipment case that can improve the finish of parts connected by ultrasonic welding as well as enables reliable connection by ultrasonic welding.
SOLUTION: According to this electrical equipment case, a first connection surface 4A and a second connection surface 5A are bonded by ultrasonic welding. A first welding rib 6, both sides of which are lowered to provided a stopper surface 8 and a gap surface 9, is projected on the first connection surface 4A. The width of the first welding rib 6 gradually gets narrower towards the end. The second connection surface 5A has a second welding rib 7 on one side of a longitudinal groove 11 and a stopper rib 3 more protruded than the second welding rib 7 on the other side. The stopper rib 3 and the second welding rib 7 are provided as opposed to the stopper surface 8 on the first connection surface 4A and the first welding rib 6 respectively. A joint gap 12 and a pool gap 14 are provided on either side of the first welding rib 6 so that melted plastic produced when the first welding rib 6 is welded onto the second welding rib 7 flows into the gaps.
