PURPOSE: To provide the titled paint which has a high resin content and gives insulated wires having excellent coatability and low-temperature solder-ability, by dissolving an adduct and a blocked isocyanate component in an org. solvent.

CONSTITUTION: One equivalent of the hydroxyl group of a polyester resin having a hydroxyl value of 200W450 obtd. by reacting a polyhydric alcohol composed of 50W99 equivalnet % of glycerol with a polybasic acid in such a proportion as to give an equivalent ratio of the OH group to the carboxyl group of 1.4W2.4, and 0.05W5 equivalent of the isocyanate group of a diisocyanate of the formula (wherein R is a residue of a bivalent aliph. or. arom. hydrocarbon) are subjected to an addition reaction at 70W150°C for 1W5hr to obtain an adduct (A). 100pts. wt. of the combined quantity of 90W50pts.wt. component A and 10W50pts.wt. isocyanate (B), obtd. by adding tolylene diisocyanate or diphenylmethane diisocyanate to a triol and blocking free isocyante groups with a phenol, are dissolved in an org. solvent (e.g. phenol).
