To provide an alicyclic epoxy resin-based electrical insulation material showing less viscosity elevation by the passage of time after production, hardly precipitating fillers, without forming a hard cake, having generally excellent storage stability and easy for handling, a method for producing the same and a method for producing an electrical instrument insulation material by using the same.
This electrical insulation material is a blended material consisting of (1) the alicyclic epoxy resin, (2) fused silica and (3) magnesium oxide, and having 1 to 80 pts.mass range (3) magnesium oxide based on 100 pts.mass total amount of the (2) fused silica and (3) magnesium oxide. The method for producing the electrical instrument insulation material is provided by covering the instrument with the electrical insulation material and curing.
