Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connection box and a wire harness which can reduce a destruction of a body at a time of a front collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An electric connection box 1 includes: a body 4 which is disposed so that one of a plurality wall surfaces 4a stood in a circumferential direction faces a front of a vehicle, and accommodates at least a single electronic component 2 within an inner space; a bracket 9 having a fixing portion 9a fixed to a vehicle body 101 of the vehicle; and an engagement mechanism 11 provided between the body 4 and the bracket 9, and engaging the bracket 9 to the body 4 from the front of the vehicle toward the rear. When external force toward the rear of the vehicle is applied to the wall surface 4a of the body 4 facing the front of the vehicle by a shock due to a collision of the vehicle, the engagement mechanism 11 removes the body 4 from the front of the vehicle to the rear with respect to the bracket 9 before the fixing portion 9a is detached from the vehicle 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
