To provide an electrical power system capable of preventing an excessive current from flowing between a plurality of converters due to removal of shutdowns of the plurality of converters, and further to provide an electric vehicle provided therewith.
An ECU 40 controls a master converter, first converter 12-1, so that a system voltage VH coincides with a predetermined target voltage and controls a slave converter, second converter 12-2, so that an amount of a current flowing through the slave converter coincides with a predetermined target amount. The ECU 40 limits a change rate of the target voltage and limits the change rate of the target voltage to be smaller than that at the normal time when the system voltage VH is increased by the master converter after simultaneous removal of shutdowns of the master converter and the slave converter.
