To provide an electrical power system capable of expanding an adjustment range of a current supplied to a load.SOLUTION: An electrical power system 1 comprises: a first conversion circuit 11 that converts an AC voltage Vac into a first DC voltage V1; and a second conversion circuit 12 that converts the first DC voltage V1 into a second DC voltage V2 and applies the second DC voltage V2 into an LED unit 2. The electrical power system 1 comprises a control circuit (a first control circuit 13 and a second control circuit 14) that controls the first conversion circuit 11 and the second conversion circuit 12 so that the second DC voltage V2 is matched to a target voltage corresponding to at least the LED unit 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
