PURPOSE: To enable a flaw-detection position according to remote control to be determined and moved, eliminate a need for a human operation, and enable measurement accuracy and measurement efficiency to be improved.
CONSTITUTION: A turning drive part 45, an elevation drive part 48 which is turned by the turning drive part, and a horizontal drive part 50 which is elevated by the elevation drive part are provided at a device main body 5. Furthermore, a flaw detector 60 which is moved horizontally by a horizontal drive part 50 is provided and the flaw detector 60 measures scratches on a surface of a specimen according to change in electrical characteristics according to this contacting needle by allowing a plurality of contacting needles to touch a surface of the specimen 1 consisting of a metal. The flaw detector 60 is turned, elevated, and moved horizontally by operation of the turning drive part 45, the elevation drive part 48, and the horizontal drive part 50 for moving to a specified position of the specimen, thus enabling a position with a flaw to be determined and moved by remote control.
