Abstract:
To provide an electrically assisted bicycle which is light in the whole construction, easy to handle, transport and repair, is energy saving, and has good efficiently.
An electric drive device 2 for a bicycle is composed of a harmonically transmitting reduction gear and a flat motor installed at a housing. The housing and a battery 3 are fixed in the middle position of a frame 1, and a middle shaft alongside the axis passes through the flat motor and reduction gear and rotates, wherein the motor is tied with a power transmission device by the reduction gear.
