Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled plastic material giving high electrical conductivity even with small amount of the fiber incorporated, also improved in various physical properties such as mechanical strength and heat resistance, by blending a thermoplastic resin powder with a specified amount of specific electrically conductive fiber ≥10% of which has been split.

CONSTITUTION: The objective plastic material can be obtained by incorporating and dispersing (A) thermoplastic resin powder with an average particle size ≤1mm with (B) 0.5W80wt% of electrically conductive fiber with an aspect ratio 100W20,000 and length ≤100mm, ≥10wt% of which has been split into single fibers.
