PURPOSE: To obtain an electrically conductive resin composition having excellent electrical conductivity without reducing improved characteristics of a base resin by blending a thermoplastic resin with an electrically conductive metallic filler, a low-melting metal powder and an organic fatty acid compound.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A thermoplastic resin (preferably polyethylene terephthalate) as a base is mixed based on the whole amount of a resin composition with (B) 2-20wt.% of an electrically conductive metallic filler (e.g. copper fiber), (C) 1-20wt.% of low-melting metal powder (e.g. tin-lead alloy powder) and (D) 0.1-3wt.% of an organic fatty acid compound (e.g. stearic acid) and the total amount of the components B and C is 5-30wt.% to give the objective composition. The composition is preferably prepared by blending the components by a kneader or a mixer to more uniformly disperse them.
