PURPOSE: To provide the titled. compsn. which is moldable and has high electrical conductivity, by dissolving a metal salt in a polymer of a polyoxyalkylene(meth)acrylate or itaconate with a polymerizable vinyl monomer.
CONSTITUTION: 20W100wt% polyoxyalkylene(meth)acrylate or itaconate of the formula [wherein R1 is H, methyl, CH2COO(CmH2mO)nR2; R2 is H, a C1W28 hydrocarbon group; n is the mean number of C2W4 alkylene groups and 2W200] and 80W0wt% other polymerizable vinyl monomer such as methyl methacrylate are polymerized in the presence of a polymn. initiator in a solvent to obtain a polymer. 0.01W0.5g equivalent (per one oxyalkylene group in the polymer) of an alkali metal salt such as KSCN is added to the polymer. If desired, the mixture is heated to dissolve the salt.
