Title:
ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED SCREW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003106319
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electrically connected screw capable of removing insulators blocking electrical conductivity such as coating or the like stuck to a surface of a conductor, and suitably obtaining electrical connection and facilitating connecting works without missing any components.

The electrically connected screw comprises a screw body 1, a cylindrical file member 3 made of a current conducting material forming an edge portion at one end side, and an earth terminal 4 made of a current conducting material which is arranged outside the file member 3. The file member 3 is integrated with a shaft portion 11 of the screw body 1 by closely fitting each other so that an edge forming part of the edge portion is aligned to an advancing direction for screw-tightening of the screw body 1. In response to screwing of the shaft portion 11 against a screw hole formed on the designated conductor, the edge portion of the file member 3 is ground while rotatably pushed on a surface of a conductor, and the earth terminal 4 is electrically connected to the conductor by making an approximately whole seated surface in which a contact spot is collapsed therein.
