Abstract:

To improve a braking device having an anti-jackknifing brake function.

An electrically controlled braking device 10 for a tractor possible to be coupled to a trailer has an anti-jackknifing brake operable by a manual operating element 116 and acting only on the brake of a trailer. The operating element 116 is an electrical element, and can generate electrical signals to control valve devices 108, 108', 136 and 154 by means of which the braking force of the anti-jackknifing brake is influenced.
