Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent shortening of a life of a fuel limiting actuator of a fuel injection pump due to frequent and wasteful operation of the actuator, in an electrically controlled boost compensator for a diesel engine with a supercharger.
CONSTITUTION: A constitution is provided such that in a fuel limit command position M on the halfway of operating a speed governing lever 1 from a low speed position L side toward a high speed position H side, based on detecting action of a fuel limit command switch 2 additionally provided in the speed governing lever 1, a control rack 7 of a fuel injection pump 3 is left as stopped to a fuel limit position J by actuating a fuel limit actuator 4 advanced to the fuel limit position J. A high load position detecting switch 8 is constituted such that when the control rack 7 is detected to reach a predetermined high load position P set in a high load region N, a fuel limit permitting timer 9 is actuated to limit advancing action of the fuel limit actuator 4 to the fuel limit position J, and relating to this operation, when not detected reaching the high load position, the advancing action to the fuel limit position J is impeded.
