The electrically-driven vehicle travelable using an electrical energy includes a chargeable-dischargeable capacitor as an energy source for making the electrically-driven vehicle travel, a temperature sensor detecting the temperature of the capacitor, and auxiliary equipment driven by a power supply from the capacitor. The electrically-driven vehicle travelable using the electrical energy further includes a charger controlling charging the capacitor from an external power supply, and a controller controlling the auxiliary equipment so as to be driven by the power supply from the capacitor when the temperature of the capacitor is less than a threshold before the charger starts charging the capacitor.
