Title:
ELECTRICALLY STIMULATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2723080
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To detect motion of shoulders and use an electrically stimulating device stably for a long time, in the electrically stimulating device for reconstituting the function of a paralysed part of an organism.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor 1 is formed in such a manner that carbon powder is filled in a rubber like syringe, and its resistance value is changed when the rubber like syringe is expanded. The resistance change 2 is inputted into a differentiation circuit 3, and shoulder motion is detected. Large pulse voltage is outputted when the shoulders are fastly moved. Thereby, this device can be used stably for a long time because slow change of shoulder motion is removed herein. An output pulse of the differentiation circuit 3 is inputted into a comparator 5 and an output pulse 7 of the electrically stimulating device is outputted when the output pulse of the differentiation circuit 3 is above a threshold level.
