Title:
ELECTRIFYING ROLLER TYPE ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC COPYING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3527910
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic copying device in which the electrifying roll touches the photosensitive drum by surface contact under weak pressure so that the durability of the device is increased and stable long-run traveling is realized.
SOLUTION: The electrifying roller 1 is an endless tubular film made of a polyamide elastomer having 103 to 1013 Ω/(square) surface resistance. The roller disposed to give surface contact with 1.5 to 7 mm contact width with the photoreceptor during copying. The endless tubular film made of a polyamide elastomer above described is preferably suspended by a conductive roller consisting of a metal core roller and a conductive foamed body deposited around the core.
